We meet on Thursday nights from 7-8 pm at either the Toronto Reference Library Room B-1 (789 Yonge St., just north of Bloor), or the Palmerston branch of the Toronto Library (560 Palmerston Ave; just North of Bloor, in between Bathurst and Christie subway stations)

A group of us from the Toronto area are planning on meeting weekly (on Thursday nights, starting in September) to learn and stretch our understanding and practice of faith. Our goal is to create a place for asking questions, where no question is taboo, where we can push ourselves towards greater congruity in our lives and beliefs. Our dream is to be a community built on diversity, learning, respect, and active social concern. Our "sister community" in London, Ontario (http://www.presencelondon.com/) has been meeting weekly for just over a year already. If you are interested in getting involved, or even just meeting some of the people involved to learn more about the vision, please join us for some potlucks this summer. We're having two of them, and the goal is just to hang out and get to know one another before we "launch" weekly gatherings in September.

Summer potlucks:

When: Thursday, July 24 and Thursday, August 14 - 6:30pm (both dates)

Where: Justin's deck. From the Christie subway station, walk east on Bloor, south on Clinton, and turn left (east) at the first alley. Before you get to the parking lot, go up the rickety stairs to the deck. (Map)
